November 2016 - Roy Lichtenstein

4th and 5th Grade

Project Title: Roy Lichtenstein

Description:
  • Pop artists based their art on popular things in modern life, such as advertising, consumer goods, mass media and brand names.  Roy Lichtenstein (October 27, 1923- September 29, 1997) is best known for his distinctive style revealing dots of primary colors used in the commercial printing process and the exaggerated action and emotion of popular imagery.
